Vision- East Elementary will be a model school that continue to exceed growth and help children reach their fullest potential in all that they do every day beyond the school walls.
Demographics- East Iredell Elementary is a kindergarten through fifth grade Title I public school located in a residential area of Statesville, NC. We are proud to be the most diverse elementary school in the district, serving around 700 students from over 20 countries, speaking 14 languages!
Program Offerings- Our school offers a variety of learning-centered instructional opportunities following the North Carolina Core Standards and Iredell-Statesville Schools Unpacking Documents. We are a magnet school for Spanish Dual Immersion in grades K-5. All classrooms implement Blended Individualized Learning (BIL), Freckle, Number Talks, Keys to Comprehension, Razz Kids Plus and MTSS as students set and track goals based on data, feedback and reflection. We are a Lighthouse, Leader in Me School that teaches and practices Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
