We're excited to welcome your child to the East Iredell Elementary family!  Before you get started, here’s everything you need to know about enrolling your student.

🗺️ Step 1: Check Your School Zone

Make sure your home is zoned for East Iredell Elementary.

💻 Step 2: Enroll Online

  1. Review the steps on the enrollment page
  2. Scroll down
    1. If your child is going to kindergarten click on the button that says “Enroll a new student for the 2026-2027” school year (next school year)
    2. If your child is transferring from another school click on the button that says “Enroll a new student for the 2025-2026 school year (current year)
  3. Follow the instructions to complete the online registration
 

💻 Paso 2: Inscríbase en línea

  1. Revise los pasos en la página de inscripción
  2. Desplácese hacia abajo
    1. Si su hijo/a va a ingresar a kínder, haga clic en el botón que dice: “Enroll a new student for the 2026–2027 school year” (próximo año escolar)
    2. Si su hijo/a se está transfiriendo de otra escuela, haga clic en el botón que dice: “Enroll a new student for the 2025–2026 school year” (año escolar actual)
    3. Siga las instrucciones para completar el registro en línea
 
 

📄 Step 3: Prepare the Required Documents

You’ll need to provide the following documents:
📘 Birth Certificate or Passport
✅ Parent ID
🧾 Proof of Residence (Only ONE of the following options):
Must show parent’s name and address:
  • 💡 Electricity bill
  • 💧 Water bill
  • 🔥 Gas bill
  • 🗑️ Trash bill
  • 🌐 Internet bill
  • 📺 Cable bill
 📧 You can use a monthly emailed statement if you don’t have a paper copy, or a screen shot from your phone that shows your name, address and company you are receiving services from.
 
🩺 Health Documents
  • ✅ Up-to-date Immunizations
  • ✅Physical Exam
    • For Kindergarten, it must be completed within a year of starting school.
    • If moving from another state, a new NC physical is required

📄 Paso 3: Prepare los documentos requeridos

Deberá proporcionar los siguientes documentos:

📧 Puede usar un estado de cuenta mensual enviado por correo electrónico si no tiene una copia en papel, o una captura de pantalla desde su teléfono que muestre su nombre, dirección y la compañía que le provee el servicio.
 
🩺 Documentos de salud
  • ✅ Acta de Vacunacion
  • ✅ Examen físico
    • Para kínder, el examen físico debe haberse realizado dentro de un año antes de comenzar la escuela.
    • Si el estudiante viene de otro estado, se requiere un nuevo examen físico del estado de Carolina del Norte.

🏢 You can also bring the documents to the school front office during school hours — we’ll make copies for you!
