Welcome to the Media & Technology Center!
At East Elementary, the Media & Technology Center is a vibrant space where students explore books, build digital skills, and grow as curious, confident learners. As your Media Coordinator, I support students and teachers with both literacy and technology needs — from finding the perfect book to learning how to use digital tools safely and effectively.
Whether we're coding, researching, collaborating on projects, or solving tech issues, the Media Center is here to help! Need help with an iPad, learning app, or classroom tech?

🕰️ Hours of Operation
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- The library is open during designated class times.
- Students in grades 3, 4, & 5, may visit during the day with a pass from their teacher.
📚 Checkout Limits & Due Dates
- Students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade may check out up to 1 book at a time.
- Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade may check out up to 2 books at a time.
- Books are due 2 weeks from the checkout date.
- Books may be renewed unless another student has placed a hold on the title.
📖 Policies for Lost or Damaged Books
- If a book is lost or damaged, students are responsible for replacing the book or paying the replacement cost.
- Overdue books must be returned before new books can be checked out.
- If you have any concerns about a lost book, please speak with the media coordinator for possible solutions.
